Welcome to the North Coast Auxiliary Unit
The mission of the North Coast
Auxiliary Unit is to work in partnership with Rady Children's Hospital
of San Diego to support its good works. This includes advocating for the health and well-being of children, increasing community awareness, and fund-raising.
Our endeavors include participation in auxiliary wide events, such as Kids' News Day, Fantasy on Ice, holiday decorating in Carly's Garden, and the Celebration of Champions.
We also raise money for the hospital by hosting our annual fundraiser, GLAMOURAMA. Over the past 11 years, our unit has raised proceeds totaling nearly $1,000,000.00. Each year we designate a department to benefit from our efforts. A few of those departments include:
- Emergency Department-2011
- Heart Institute - 2010
- Pain Management Program - 2009
- The Chadwick Center - 2008
- Sam & Rose Stein Emergency Care - 2007
